I have never tried this, but I have no idea where to meet the right man for me.

I go downtown every now and again and while I often get attention for my physical appearence, this is honestly not the kind of attention I am seeking. I am a woman with self respect and intelligence and no man is going to get me into their bed just because they think I am sexy. I don't sleep with strangers and really don't enjoy being objectified as I am not a walking vagina. Yes I have one, but I am much more than the way I present myself physically. It is so much more flattering to be complimented on who I am as a human being rather than the way I look. The man I am seeking is someone who is respectful. I want a companion. I want someone that enjoys talking about life, the world, our ideas and opinions, feelings, knowledge, etc. I want to spend my time with someone who I find "mentally stimulating", interesting, funny, and fun. Of course, looks are a factor and have the potential to spark my curiousity about someone, but for me, respecting and admiring the character of somebody is much more important.

I am in my twenties, college educated, compassionate, curious, and ambitious. I really enjoy reading, watching documentaries, learning, cooking, being creative, and
experiencing. I appreciate the beauty of Santa Barbara and like to stay connected to my habitat so I enjoy bike rides, walking, hiking, exploring, hanging out at the beach, etc. I love and appreciate music and especially enjoy listening to it live. Sometimes I'll even dance ;). I like to play with clay, sew, draw, paint, write, check out art at museums and exhibits, travel, spend time with friends, play piano, and smile. Most importantly I like to think and I do it a lot, sometimes maybe too much.
I think that the most important thing to figure out about other people are their intentions. So I guess I am looking for someone with good intentions to get to know,

I love to feed my soul with the riches of this life: The ocean breeze in my hair with the sun on my face. Checking out the local art scene or new film.
